A lifelong outdoorsman and professional charter captain, Patrick brings a calm, grounded presence to every voyage. Patrick is Co-Owner and operator of Sacred Waters and Sacred Grove Preserve. With decades of experience navigating the coastal waters of the Southeast, Patrick ensures every burial is conducted safely, lawfully, and with unwavering respect.

His steady leadership and deep knowledge of the sea make him a trusted guide during moments of profound transition.

Captain Arlette O’Rourke

U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Licensed Captain, Certified Funeral Celebrant, Green Burial Operator

Arlette is a rare combination of mariner, minister, and mission-driven end-of-life professional. She holds certifications in green burial operations and celebrant services, and brings years of experience in both ceremonial design and hands-on burial logistics.

As co-founder of Sacred Grove Preserve and a trained hospice volunteer, Arlette is committed to restoring meaning, beauty, and ecological responsibility to the way we say goodbye. She meets families with empathy, clarity, and a sacred respect for life and death alike.
